Titles for your web site listing
Using a clear, accurate title for your web site is very important. When providing Clickey with a "Title" for your listing, please keep the following points in mind:
- The words you use as your title have no bearing on how you are found.
- Using the name of your web site or organization is advised and builds name recognition.
- Avoid using a title which reads like an blatant advertisement.
- Avoid using "ALL CAPITAL LETTERS" in your title.
- Do not use names of other companies, hoping to capitalize on their existing exposure.
- Do not use odd characters or excessive punctuation in order to stand out.
- Do not use phone numbers or addresses in your title.
Sample Company Scenario:
Hawaiian B&B, Inc. has a web site which allows people to book reservations from a wide assortment of Bed and Breakfasts located in Hawaii. They can arrange for airfare or car rental as long as you stay at one of their Bed and Breakfasts. Their target audience are newlyweds and visitors to the islands. Their corporate office is located in San Diego, California. Although the main focus of their web site is to book reservations for Hawaiian B&Bs, they also have links to fun and exciting things to do while visiting Hawaii.

Hawaiian Bed and Breakfasts
Hawaiian Accommodations
Honeymoon Getaways
Bad Titles:
Hilton Reservations - (Do not use other company names as your title)
Cheap Airfare to Hawaii - (Misleading and not the main focus of the web site)
Win a Free Trip To Hawaii - (Misleading and in the form of an advertisement)
BEACHES OF HAWAII - (Misleading, not the main focus and ALL CAPS)
!!!Hawaiian Vacations!!! - (Over use of punctuation)
